We are able to take your car (sim special, or real world livery converted to virtual) and shoot it on a track of your choice. We can choose the weather, the time of year (golden leaves on the trees, or snow in the pit lane), the time of day (and therefore the exact position of the sun). We can even shoot your car from anywhere in 3D space (inside the car, tracking the car, positioned on the splitter, 30m above the car etc), we can do the impossible. Great for launching a new livery, or for an artwork to thank a sponsor.
Live Coverage (in server)
We have a lot of experience of shooting the official images for a series. In June 2020 our team was entrusted with the in-server official photography for the world’s biggest sim-race, The Le Mans 24 Hours Virtual Edition. We put an international team together to cover the full 24 hours, not only for the organisers but two major manufacturers. We also supplied SRO with their live supply of images for their very successful E-Sports series. We are able to shoot the images live in the race, process them and transfer them to the organisers for social media posts within minutes.
For some events it’s not possible to gain access to the server during the race, so we work fast on a downloaded replay file of the race. For example for the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E team we were able to turn around a set of 15 images for a press release within an hour of the race finishing and 30 mins of receiving the replay file.
We can work on any sim racing platform, but the four main sims we are requested to use are rFactor 2, iRacing, Project Cars 2 and Assetto Corsa Competitzione.
Our Formula E and Le Mans 24 Virtual Edition assignments were on the rFactor 2 platform. It’s one of the most popular platforms because of the ‘modding’ possibilities.
iRacing is a very popular sim that is used in a lot of international leagues. The images taken from the iRacing platform look incredibly realistic. We have access to all the cars and tracks in game to cover any race live or from replay. Or we can set up any kind of situation for your chosen car.
Project Cars 2
Project Cars 2 is a great platform for creating art work of races that never happened in real life. The image you see here is a render of a Sauber Mercedes Group C car at Hockenheim during sunset. We created this bespoke artwork for a project with Logitech.
Assetto Corsa Competitzione
ACC is the official sim for GT World Challenge and Intercontinental GT Challenge. As such it’s the perfect platform for shooting publicity shots for the many brands that run in that series. The image to the left is a publicity image for announcing Bentley’s entry into the SRO E-sports series.
